The maximum weight depends on the make and model of the stairlift, it can range from 120kg (18 stone) to 180kg (28 stone). |

| How much does a stairlift cost? This varies depending on which stair lift company you buy from. The average price for a straight rail lift would be £1600 - £2500. For a curved rail stairlift these range from £4000 - £8000. The prices are greatly determined by the stair configuration and customer requirements. Another factor is the cost of administering a good quality after sales service. Without adequate servicing your stairlift will break down at some point. Most reputable companies will not provide you a lift for the cheapest price, this allows for the after sales service you would expect should your equipment fail. |

| Can you rent a stairlift? TLC offer both rental and HP agreements for straight and curved stairlifts. These are tailored to your individual requirements and are subject to a minimum rental period. |

| If we order, when will the lift be installed? Our usual terms of business are 5 working days for straight rail lifts and 3 - 4 weeks for curved stair lifts. Depending on individual circumstances we can adjust these to requirement. |
